Motorcycle Tax

cars, road tax for motorcycles isn't based on emissions at the moment - they're purely based on the engine size and whether it's a motorcycle or tricycle. Will
motorcycle VED (Vehicle Excise Duty) go the way of cars and be taxed in the future based on emissions?
